A wonderful performance of "Much Ado About Nothing" was performed by The Festival Players in the Chantry walled garden on the last Sunday in August. The event, organised by Friends of the Chantry, was an enormous success and was thoroughly enjoyed by the audience. The performance was held in beautiful weather, enabling everyone to thoroughly enjoy the wonderful environment of the Chantry garden.

The Festival Players Theatre Company is a well established professional company with Dame Judi Dench as the patron. The company tours extensively internationally.

A major project has been completed at the Chantry to renovate the windows. The project took 5 months to complete and cost a total of £25,500. The project was funded by a grant of £22,500 from Enovert Community Trust and a further £3,000 from South Glos. Council. The condition of the windows had deteriorated to a point where they were not only unsightly but structurally unsound. As well as fixing both of these problems, the project included the fitting of high quality draught insulation to the windows. This will save the charity significant sums in heating costs. The Trustees are extremely grateful to the grant providers for their support in this important project.
