Thornbury
Ramblers are a like minded group of people who meet regularly to enjoy walking
(and talking) in the countryside. We have a meeting every week throughout the
year, and more regularly during the summer, where we walk and enjoy observing
the changing seasons throughout the South West.
Our walks can be as long as 11 miles or as short as 3 depending on the time of
year and the terrain. Whatever your interests in the outdoors we usually have
someone who also has that interest so there are plenty of companions to share
your views with.
We have a strong social programme throughout the year regularly holding quizzes,
talks, skittles, dances and weekend trips to interesting areas. If you would
